Mini-THON®
Mini-THON®
Southern Lehigh High School will be holding its Mini-THON® on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 9am - 9pm. Our Mini-THON® is an independent fundraising event benefiting Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital. We support the mission of Four Diamonds by funding pediatric cancer research at Penn State College of Medicine and providing financial, medical, and emotional support to pediatric oncology patients treated at Penn State Children’s Hospital.
Modeled after Penn State's THON, Four Diamonds Mini-THON® started in 1993 to empower students to learn about philanthropy and event management by joining the fight against pediatric cancer. During the 2022-2023 school year, over 225 schools like Southern Lehigh held Mini-THONs and raised over 6.2 million dollars for Four Diamonds.
With the help of our students, our many volunteers, and our generous sponsors, Southern Lehigh raised $36,842.42 last year to bring our three year total to over $96,000. Your donations are integral in our fight to conquer childhood cancer. This daytime, stay-on-your feet (12 hour) event has taught and continues to teach Southern Lehigh students about empathy, community, and service and we invite you to share this experience with us during Community Hour this March!
Spartan Snack Cart - Look for us every Tuesday and Thursday during Spartan to purchase from our snack cart! Cash or Venmo.
